Changing Display Preferences on Desktops

Windows 10 Machines

Hold down the Windows key and press the letter P

Multiple options will show up off to the right of the screen with the 4 different options for screen layout.

This will function at the login screen or even if accidentally set to second screen only.

All display settings will be reset to the Deep Freeze default when the machine is rebooted.

PC Screen Only - Output will ONLY show up on the laptop/teaching station screen.

Duplicate - What shows up on the laptop/teaching station screen will be doubled and displayed on the projection.

Extended - Uses the projection as a second screen.  Programs will have to be moved to the secondary screen to be viewed.

Second Screen Only - Output will ONLY show up on the projection.  You will want to change this before disconnecting.

MAC OS

Up at the top right of the taskbar there is the AirPlay logo.

Clicking that logo will drop down the streaming options and also the Open Displays Preferences menu.

In this menu selecting the Arrangement tab will show wether or not the Mirror option is selected.

The screen with a white bar over it is the main display. The screens can be rearranged so that the second screen is off to whichever side the projector screen is.
