Adobe Creative Cloud (CC)
About
MVNU has a site license for most Adobe software which allows every employee across campus access to install and operate their entire CC suite as needed on their computer. The Adobe suite of products are very robust, providing complex capability that serves as the industry standard for many graphic designers, illustrators, artists, videographers, and so on. As such, the software installs take up a significant amount of storage space and should only be installed “As needed.” Also, please keep in mind that the software utilizes a large portion of the computer’s process capability meaning that if any Adobe software is running, your entire computer could begin running slowly and may become unresponsive if run alongside the myriad of other programs available on the machine.
MVNU Adobe Creative Cloud Login and Use
1. Open any Adobe App on an MVNU owned computer.
2. Click on the “Sign in with an Enterprise ID” just below the login fields.
3. Enter your MVNU username, i.e., student@mail.mvnu.edu or faculty@mvnu.edu.
This is not your FirstName.LastName, as is sometimes documented on MVNU email logins. This is your username you use to login into Moodle and the Portal.
4. When you press tab or click to the password field, the page will re-direct you to the standard MVNU login page, as if you were logging into.
5. Re-enter your MVNU username.
6. Enter your MVNU password.
7. The option of whether you would like to reduce logins will appear, but if you are logged onto a lab computer, selecting "Yes" will not be saved, as MVNU lab computers are set to refresh logins after restarting or being shut off.
8. The page will re-direct you back into the Adobe App you are using.
If you experience any login errors or issues, please take a screen shot and report it to the Motherboard Helpdesk.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What if I am a student that already pays for Adobe Creative Cloud? Can I use it in the MVNU Lab?
Yes. When prompted to enter your username and password, simply enter your Adobe Creative Cloud username. This will work even if your paid subscription is using your MVNU email. The difference here is that you do not choose the Enterprise ID login as listed in step 2 above.
What if I am prompted to choose Enterprise ID or Federated ID?
If this option comes up, choose Federated ID.
