Updating VPN Client

Periodically your VPN Client (FortiClient) will need updated. In most cases uninstalling the old one is needed first. Follow these steps to uninstall and click the link at the bottom to download and update your client.

Uninstalling

Windows

1. If FortiClient is running, disconnect from the VPN, click on the ForiClient icon in the taskbar, and select “Shutdown Forticlient.”

2. Click Start

3. Type “add remove”

4. Select “Add or Remove Programs”

5. Scroll down until you see “Forticlient”

6. Select “Forticlient” and click “Uninstall”

7. Follow the Uninstall process

8. At the end it will ask to restart your computer, click the restart option to restart immediately

9. Follow the link below to install the latest supported Forticlient version and follow the install instructions

Mac/Apple

1. Open Finder

2. Click “Applications” on the left-hand side

3. Scroll until you find “FortiClientUninstaller” and double-click it

4. Follow the Uninstall process

5. Reboot your computer
