  1. If accessing from off-campus, login and connect to the VPN.

  2. Open Firefox or Chrome and navigate to https://phone.mvnu.edu/

  3. Enter your username (your extension)

  4. Enter your password (same as voicemail – by default, your password is your extension when first created).

    1. If you need help resetting your password, follow the “Forgot Password” prompts, or call the Help Desk.

  5. Once you have signed in, one of two possibilities will be observed.

    1. If you have not signed in before, the screen would appear blank.

      1. In this instance, you will have to create a dashboard. Name it however you would like (perhaps your name or the extension number.)

        1. Then, you will have to go to the left side of the page and click the plus icon.

      2. You have the option to view call forwarding, call waiting, call history, voicemails, and more.

        1. To find settings within a widget, click the gear icon.

      3. Once you add the widget, the widgets will all be found in the control panel.

    2. If you have signed in before, you may view widgets you have added previously. (Note: You have the option to expand the screen visible. Simply pull (left click and drag) the right corner of the widget to expand or decrease the screen size.)
