These are the instructions for signing up for Alertus & Nixle

Alertus

  1. Download the Alertus app from the Apple App Store and from the Android Play Store.

  2. Once the Alertus app is installed, enter 6868 to join the MVNU group and then enter the 4 digit code for faculty/staff which can be given by contacting the Hub.


Nixle

  1. Visit the following link (based on your role):

    1. Employee - EmployeeNixleSignup (mvnu.edu)

    2. Residential Students - ResidentialNixleSignup (mvnu.edu)

    3. Commuter Students - CommuterNixleSignup (mvnu.edu)

    4. CCP/Parent

  2. Fill out the form (you should get a confirmation message like the one below)

  3. It will text you asking for confirmation that you want to receive alerts.

  4. Reply “YES” in your texting app to conclude sign-up.
